David H. Collier Photography

David H. Collier has spent his life immersed in the stunning landscapes of the American West, a backdrop that has deeply influenced his work as a photographer. His creative journey began as a drummer in several bands, but by age 20, he found his true calling in photography, attending the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. Since earning his degree, David has honed his craft, building a reputation for capturing compelling images that tell stories and bring brands to life.

With over 20 years of experience, David’s portfolio includes work with high-profile clients like AAA Via magazine, where he spent 14 years contributing to feature stories and creating 44 iconic covers. He has also produced hundreds of stunning images for Visit California, as well as capturing the beauty and culture of Napa Valley for tourism campaigns and local wineries.

David’s talent for storytelling isn’t limited to large-scale projects. He also thrives on collaborating with smaller businesses, like a local olive oil company where he handles all of their content creation, from catalogs to marketing campaigns. His approach is personal, hands-on, and tailored to help each client convey their unique story through high-quality imagery that resonates with their audience.

Known for his collaborative spirit, David loves building long-lasting relationships with clients and crafting images that exceed expectations. Whether he’s capturing the essence of a destination, the personality of a brand, or the soul of a small business, his passion for photography shines through in every project.

Outside of work, David enjoys life in the California foothills with his family, always inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds him. He’s a fun, easygoing collaborator who brings both experience and enthusiasm to every project he takes on.
